DOWNTOWN GETS A FARMERS MARKET

From Williamsburg to Silverlake, every hip neighborhood has one thing that tells you it’s arrived at the corner of Hip and Now. Well, the crazy Fremont Street East area now has the sign of the coming of the Hipsters, a Farmers Market.

Our own loveable Mayor, Oscar Goodman inaugurated the “Las Vegas Farmers Market at Fremont East District (Whew! Who got paid to think that one up?)” on May 1^st and it’s been attracting more and more people ever since. So far, over 20 vendors of everything from fresh fruits and vegetables to tasty organic salad mixes and Kettle Corn have been pleasing the taste buds of Downtown dwellers and day trippers. Make sure y’all stop on by now, ya hear!
